Regardless, this is certainly something worth waiting patiently for, especially if you're developing a hunger for something that actually feels like the Elder Scrolls you've always known and loved. Plus, it's likely going to be completely free-to-play, provided you own a copy of Skyrim. It's certainly going to be more breathtaking than Oblivion's own successor, Skyrim (at least, the 2011 vanilla version of it). But even that isn't really saying much at this point, seeing as the latter is still years away from completion itself.Īt this rate, though, it looks like the finished product will no doubt be on par with a lot of the triple-A games we're seeing released these days. It's at least probable that it'll arrive before the sixth official Elder Scrolls game does, however.
Skyblivion has already been in development for a good eight years, and unfortunately, we still don't have any idea of when it will be done and dusted.
